It's the quickest change of layout I ever did, barely a few days after I had changed it to the Ravens, here it is with a whole new look, featuring Arashi. I was really dissatisfied with the Ravens one cause it was obviously sloppily done and I hadn't placed much effort into it. And the Ravens definitely deserves better than just a simple messy work. So while I was sitting in front of my computer yesterday morning, thinking how unsatisfied I was with the layout, I decided to change it to something else. Cause really, I know I can do a much better job with my layout and being half-hearted with my work (even if it's just a layout) is not something I am proud of. So in a quick decision, I chose something out of randomness. It just so happen the random was Arashi. I liked the photoshoot they did for the particular issue of Potato, so I thought why not. And it came down to this. This time, I am thoroughly satisfied. Although it's nothing extravagant and all, but it's neat and simple enough to my liking. It's easy on the eyes too. At least it's easy on my eyes.
I changed the side content section as well, adding a few ramblings over there as well. Just because. I thought it would be good to at least have some sort of intro for the poor souls who stumble into my hopeless fangirl realm. At least it serves as a warning of some sort XD
And on to the post's original:
I cannot even imagine why in the world I did NOT come to know and love these guys as I do now. They are bloody hilarious and amusing, and also, the ones with the biggest heart =D And there I thought KJ8 and K-T was awesome, well, not that they are not anymore, but Arashi's simply marvelously amazing. Before Nishikido-kun - the Sexy Osaka Man with the poison-tongue, there was Ninomiya-kun with his sharp wit and mischievous antics. Before Kamenashi-kun - the loner who's always cool, calm and collected, there was MatsuJun with his suave personality and also, rather irritant self XD Before Junno-kun with his goofy jokes, there was Aiba-kun who's so bloody childish and incredibly silly to the max, in other words, not the brightest bulb, but certainly the cutest and most charming ever. And then there's Sakurai-kun with his adorable smile and his ability to put up with his crazy members who are pretty much polar opposites of one another. And of course, Ohno-kun who has a giggle too cute for a guy and the best facial expressions ever - especially when he's confused.
Over a span of two days, I've watched around 6 or 7 episodes of Mago Mago Arashi and the laughter I had? Too much until I almost fell over laughing. The show features the five taking turns in pairs to: one, be grandkids for a day for a pair of grandparents; two, to cook for the kids when their parents are out to have some time by themselves. And each and every episode has been absolutely funny and one of it, where Ninomiya-kun and Ohno-kun went to be grandkids for an elderly couple in Okinawa, reduced me to tears cause I was so touched by the elderly couple's love. What's so nice about the show, besides seeing the five guys in their absolutely real character, is seeing the love between elderly couples who have been married over the years...still being very much in love =D I've probably mentioned it countless of times, but I really do adore elderly couples who have been together throughout the years.
Getting on...I love to watch the guys handling kids. It's funny yet sweet.
This would be Ohno-kun trying to handle a crying 1 year+ little boy. He had started crying as soon as his parents left and Ohno-kun was absolutely lost at what he should do. So, Ohno did what Ohno would do in such situation...imitate the little boy and cry along XD
Nino-kun being the absolute doting guy by obliging to whatever the little guy wanted to do.
However, when it came to handling dirty diapers - Nino-kun immediately takes his escape and goes to the one person he knows he can count on. Riiiiiidda XD That would be 'Leader' in Japanese slang, also known as 'Captain' or Ohno-kun =D

Immediate rejection. She didn't even have to think about it, it was a right-out answer. Lol.

Now, not only can the guys sing, dance and act, they can also cook and whip up quite a meal (well, for Ninomiya-kun and MatsuJun that is, the others...aren't so bad XD), AND, Ninomiya-kun also does housework! He helped to fold the clothes while Ohno-kun and the kids were busy cooking =D
However, though he would make a good house-husband, it's not the same when it comes to being a father...
Ninomiya-kun's stern look when the third child plays with the food XD I love his tone of voice when he chided the kid. His personality is so unexpected cause I've always thought Ninomiya-kun as the cute joker and prankster of the good (which he is XD) but never thought of him as a highly-opinionated person with the sharp tongue.
Ninomiya-kun reprimanding the second child with gentle smacks on the head. Lol.
And then there's Aiba-kun and MatsuJun with their task of the day to take care of a little girl and her brother for the evening. The little girl, Hina-chan, is absolutely cute and sweet! She helped the guys with whatever they needed, especially in pacifying her younger brother (who's also really cute) Sora. Plus, she even helped Aiba-kun when he needed to blow his nose! Rofl. I swear, anyone who has never known Aiba-kun (besides his silly side that is, lol) should watch this episode cause he's absolutely charming in this one. I can imagine him as a very much doting father cause he was so taken by Hina-chan. It was obvious he absolutely adored her XD
But when little Sora-kun started crying as soon as the kids parents left, MatsuJun immediately showed one of his weird faces. Lol. It's his imitation of Sora-kun's 'shock' reaction of seeing his parents leave him and his sister behind with two very weird guys XD
Aiba-kun's lie about Sora-kun's parents coming back didn't help either.
MatsuJun really couldn't withstand the crying, rofl. His expression is priceless.
But his attempts to cheer up Sora-kun are equally cute as well...
And just to show how much Aiba-kun adores Hina-chan...
When he was tearing up while cutting the onions, he even asked Hina-chan to help him wipe his tears and allow him to blow his nose on the tissue. It's like a reversed role between the two, lol.
But here's the other side of Aiba-kun besides his childish goofiness. He was so accommodating towards Hina-chan. Whenever she called for his attention he would immediately answer her and look at her. When she was playing house with MatsuJun (which was really cute and funny cause the cool MatsuJun was actually sitting there cross-legged playing house with a 5 year old girl), she asked Aiba-kun if he wanted to buy bread. Although he was busy cooking, he took the time to answer her and play along. That, is one of the sweetest thing a guy can do for a little kid. It's not often guys are willing to play along when it comes to role-playing and 'house' games, most of the time they are usually quite reluctant to do so.
Helping Hina-chan to clean up. He keeps giving me reasons to love him even more so =D
Aiba-kun would make a really good father, probably one who would happily spoil the kids, play with them and entertain their every query and demands for attention and whatnots XD
And just because I love Aiba-kun's smile =D
Basically, Arashi is absolutely entertaining when it comes to them handling kids. And in the episodes with Sakurai-kun (which I didn't have the time to screnn-cap), the way he deals with kids is pretty calm and collected. He doesn't mind them when they get all crazy but he does try his best to keep them in check. And he's serious when it comes to homework XD He would help the kids with their homework and check it. As expected of the Keio graduate.
And since I am spamming this post with pics, it won't hurt to add a little more would it? Screencaps from a subbed version of Arashi's early morning wake-up call while in Hawaii. The last person to be awaken was Riidda a.k.a Ohno-kun. He probably got the worst wake up call with 4 guys jumping up and down his bed while singing along to the sounds of A-ra-shi XD And the best part was, Ohno-kun didn't even get angry but instead, he mumbled sleepily that he thinks it's great to be waken up in such a way. The other four were baffled by his response...ah, no wonder Ohno-kun is the leader. Lol.

Arashi has officially taken over the top spot of my fandom, knocking off K-T and KJ8. Hehe =D They are just too awesomely lovable. In my half-dead state of mind and where it's also 3.10am at the moment, I really can't think of anything more tangible and logical to say except...Arashi pwns me.
