the awesome-ness of advent childeren XD

So when I get into a fandom, it's pretty much pre-determined that I will be so into it that I wouldn't mind spending money on things I wouldn't have given a second thought to if it wasn't for the fandom. Sometimes, I may end up regretting what I bought, for instance...the couple of CDs of a particular music artiste whom I don't have much interest in anymore - which is quite plenty when I think about it. I have this tendency to buy on an impulse - a definite weakness on my part, and only realize later that I don't really need it XD

Anyhow, I'm hoping this wouldn't be pushed aside in my fandom world, cause of the effort I took in order to get it. It would be such a waste to just have it forgotten and into the black hole...considering I had spent a month of anxiety and moodiness over it. Lol. Besides, I'm pretty much delighted to have it, sitting in my collection of treasured stuffs, looking all black and cool XD

I'm pleased to present, my latest spending on something that I don't necessarily need:

Advent Children's Limited Edition Collector's Set XD Which includes the script, novel (including Case of Tifa-which brings 'Cloti' into a whole new level) and postcards. The DVD included the deleted scenes, making of interviews, compilation trailers, and of course Last Order. So really, there was absolutely no reason for me to not get this.

Awesome-ness XD

It took close to two months, a lost package, and a few frantic emails back and forth for it to finally arrive from U.S and to its destination: my grandma's place. Still, despite the lost package (I'm blaming it all on the postage system or the custom....but it shouldn't be the former since I had ordered CDs and whatnots before this and they usually arrive safe and sound with no tax, clearance problem or whatsoever) I was quickly replaced with another order, this time on expedited shipping and it reached me within two weeks. When my dad told me I had a parcel that very Saturday morning, my heart practically soared into the skies with pure joy XD

And because I simply could not resist after seeing Sephiroth on the cover:

Advent Children's Reunion Files which had both English and Japanese text. I actually saw it a few times on my trips to Kino to get Japanese magazines - with the JE guys featured ALL over for a fangirl's drooling, lol - but had never gotten around to get it cause I wasn't too sure if the RM127.90 was worth spending. The book definitely was worth getting, but the money? Thinking twice, thrice, was inevitable...I mean, as much of a loser I am for not saving money, I still care about my pockets once in a while. But when I last went to Kino with Auntie Mei, I saw that book again...just sitting there in the shelf and with Sephiroth on the cover, I knew I had to get it. But I didn't have enough money with me since I had spent most of it on something else so, the day after the next...I made a trip back to Kino again, all by myself, just to get it before quickly returning in order to get to my part-time job on time. One and a half hour for the travel and only half hour for actually being within Suria KLCC's vicinity. Still, so worth it.

AC pwns me. What else can I say? XD
