The list contains the Johnny groups, debuted ones of course. From SMAP, TOKIO, V6, Kinki Kids, Arashi, Kanjani8, News, KAT-TUN and Hey!Say!Jump! (what a handful name really, rofl). Not surprisingly, number one on the list is shared by all eight members of Kanjani8. As expected. I mean come on, it's crazy to even think they wouldn't be on the top spot of my list. Lolz. Kamenashi-kun comes next, well of course he would be cause he is still very much a favorite after all =D Arashi comes in all together as well, go figure. But I'm surprised that Nakai-kun, Okada and Miyake are below - I remembered picking them over the HSJ boys (and practically all the other 'senior' groups), but HSJ still turned out higher than them instead. No really, it's what the heck cause I picked "No Opinion" for when it came to them, except for Nakajima Yuuto simply cause he was just adorable in 'Nobuta wo Produce'. Notice the list comes in 1s, 9s, 22s, and 54s - well, that's cause I mostly picked "Both Like Same" or "No Opinion" for most of them. Except when it came to certain individuals which I definitely had no qualms or doubts over XD
So I went ahead with a 2nd attempt:

Slightly better, but I have no idea who is Yamashita Shoon and Ayukawa Taiyo which brings up the question how did they get the position they are in here. Rofl. Oh well. So I attempted again the fourth time, hell yeah, I live in the land of DENIAL XD
Okay, so forget the fourth cause the ranking is so screwed up cause I clicked too fast and yes, I am in denial of it. So drop it. I was actually thinking about going at it for another 4 more times, I mean eight is my favorite number after all, rofl. Okay, so I'm just plain picky when it comes to doing things in a number of times, like shuffling my music, or slicing the tomatoes for my omelette and stuff like that - I just go with the number eight cause I feel it's a complete number. I blame it all on K8 okay? And Ohkura-kun with his '8 -->1' XD
So...noticed the pattern of my ranking? The most obvious of all? Nishikido-kun, Uchi-kun are always at the first two positions of the ranking. Lolz.
'F.T.O' has been on repeat ever since I started this post, which is about 15 minutes ago I think. If I am not listening to it then I would be singing it or humming it. I don't know why but the whole 'Funky Town Osaka' really got stuck in my head. And the fact that each and every member has a long solo part in the song just makes it all the more awesome. At first I couldn't recognize the first voice, though I could differentiate the others (the easiest being Nishikido-kun's, followed by Shibutani-kun's and Yokoyama-kun's - theirs are very distinctive). I thought it sounded like Ohkura-kun's cause it was deep, but then after the chorus, the second part was sung by another voice which sounded like his as well, but I doubt he would be the only one having two parts and none with Yasuda's. So just to double check, I watched their Heat Up concert DVD which I avoided watching in the first place(cause there was no Uchi, but I watched Spirits! anyway cause - well cause Nishikido's 'Ai Igai No Nandemo Nai' was worth watching okay? And their performance of 'Heavenly Psycho' was wonderful as well. And I have decided that it was silly to avoid watching them without Uchi cause come on, liking them equates to liking ALL of them whether or not one's missing at the moment, so I am going to watch all of them and love all of them and get their '47' concert DVD simply because I think it's awesome and their performance of 'Eden' in it was just so raw and beautiful) and as I was saying before I digress, I watched Heat Up and when it came to their performance of F.T.O, it was Yasuda who sang the first part. I was floored. Amazed that he could pull such a deep voice - which by the way, I found it to be really sexy.
And somehow, I really feel that I ought to stay away from knowing and understanding what the guys like. I mean, because of them, I am starting to be so serious about my cooking, with cooking books and deep thoughts on how I should cook something in a certain way, with what and how, etc. I even write down notes okay?!?! So unlike me really. And I also look forward to eating all kinds of food even more so now - so influenced by their love of food. Okay the cooking and loving food part is acceptable cause naturally, I do enjoy cooking from time to time and I do love food alot. Just that it doubles even more so with their influence. But I'm getting influenced by their Kansai-ben as well, oh gawd. When they speak in their Kansai dialect, I just think it's incredibly beautiful yet quirky on its own note.
But what I really feel hopelessly pathetic about - my new developed interest in '24'. Yes, the TV series '24'. All because Ohkura-kun mentioned he watches the DVD till late in the night (what do you know, the guys actually sleeps late - as in 3am/4am watching DVDs, playing music and stuff, so I am normal for staying up late to watch movies, reading, blogging and stuff. Rofl). And he said it's really exciting and interesting. So one day, in Ipoh, as bored as I was without anything to watch and seeing that '24' would air next, I curiously decided to try it out. And now, I think I'm kind of hooked. Cause it is interesting and pretty exciting. I so hate you Ohkura-kun for bringing me into this....well, not really XD
I think K8 is a great distraction. Very, big distraction. I need a break from them. If only I could stop playing their music over and over again on my playlist and put away the calendar of theirs that's hanging on my bedroom wall. Which is quite likely a no XD
