a little fascination

I feel bad, well really. I went fangirlishly (that is definitely not a legit word, excuse my butchery of the language) happy over someone not Ohno-kun or Arashi for that matter.

See the screencap below?

The middle guy? Okay middle if you look hard enough, otherwise, it's the guy second from right. Tall, floppy-haired like, fair and suspiciously good looking? Yes, that's the one.

Upclose shots:

Masamune Asuka. Kendo Captain and enthusiast.

My point?

I was baited by the Kendo-look.

Masaki Okada (think HanaKimi, the adorable guy who gets his name mistaken all the time) is the actor above and he really nails that shoujo manga look which of course, goes in line with the story itself, Otomen :) So far, it's pretty interesting...funny and entertaining but plot wise, well it's not as gripping as HanaKimi or HYD, but serves pretty nicely for a light hearted J-drama.

So -- I realize that I read too much manga cause when I first saw Asuka in here, my first thought was, 'amazing'...okay, so I said 'kakkoii' without a second thought cause that word just flew out like that - embarrassing indeed, on how much he looked like he had stepped out of the manga into a live action drama. And I was so drawn into his Kendo scenes. Which brings me to the real point - I think I'm too fascinated with Kendo and Kyudo (Japanese archery) for reasons beyond my comprehension. And yes, Masaki-kun looks awesome in the Kendo attire.

haha yess no worries you can reply back on my blog post...haha I reply back on every new blog post of urs since everytime I come here, there's already a new post. =p

btw I got nothing much to comment on this post of urs coz I've never heard of this drama before. lolol. it's been awhile since I caught up with dramas. haha.

O.O it'll be even more coincidental if you told me you live somewhere in taman tun or bandar utama =p

oohh yess nissy and misako! haha yess their duets are simply amazingg. I lovee the songss ;)
and yess MUSIC!! is a lovely song...it's that song that made me fall in love with nissy's vocals actually. I love his singing soo much! I just find it sooo smooth!

haha and about the concert DVD...I wanted to get 1 as well but for some reason, my friend was unable to find it when she went to tokyo. she was supposed to help me purchase. =p Instead she ended up getting me a Channel A DVD and an AAA album. the Attack All Around one with 2 CDs. I really wanted a concert DVD though...well at least I'm still supporting AAA in this way.

btw which concert dvd do you own? hmms.

And about the pretty boys, well I understand as I'm still quite into pretty boys myself X)

Hmms and about the domes, I guess that makes sense and Yeahh I do hope AAA get their chance real soon! Their lives are always great but with Tokyo Dome, I think they can totally raise it up another notch ;)

Yeahh AAA are rising up, but honestly, they still need more publicity. Like when I read a recent A-Nation report from a fan, apparently outside, there were like 6-7 booths for ayumi and another 6-7 for dbsk but only one for AAA. haha that's more proof of them being underrated.

and yess I do know Nissy is an awesome actorr! I managed to download that movie he was in, Love Exposure/Ai No Mukidashi, with english soft subs! I was really happy cause I haven't seen him act before XD And woww he was GOOOD. lol. The movie's content is abit...uhhh I don't quite know how to explain it. But u heard of the movie?

ohh Yeah btw have you seen AAA's recent A-Nation performance of Break Down?? woww...I have to say...misako uno's vocals in that performance was STUNNING. one of the best that I've ever heard from her...she was dead on! I'm not too fond of her hair though.

Streaming and download link is this:

Have you checked it out yet? =p

phews that's a relief then. for me, I don't mind reading long stuff either just as long it interests me. haha.

lols KL isn't that big and from where I live, it's basically near anywhere anywayy. haha.

oohh 5th Attack! that's actually one of the DVDs I wanted too...but I'm considering to just wait for their 4th anniversary concert DVD which will probably be released next year...=p

And yeahh if I need any help with purchasing online, I'll ask you ;)

Haha for me hmms Yeahh I used to really LOVE HSJ! lols well perhaps it's coz they're all about my age. I think I'm pretty much younger than you, I'm 16 this year, so I gravitated easily towards HSJ since it made me happy to think they were all about my age. I know...funny right? =p

My favourite member from HSJ though has to be yamada ryosuke! at 1st it was nakajima yuto coz of his good looks and charm but after watching HSJ awhile, it became yamada ryosuke coz there's just something about it...the way he carries himself, his charisma...for some reason I was attracted to that. haha. and yess I agree chinen's reallyy cutee. the ohno fanboy thing is really funny. hehe.

and actually if you look back at my posts, quite abit of other fangirling also...I think there's like a small segment on KAT-TUN cause I used to kinda like em...their music is pretty interesting...but if ur talking about live singing, I have to admit they aren't too good...

In JE, groups like SMAP...well live singing isn't good...and 2nd would be KAT-TUN actually coz they're very inconsistent live but ohh well...

hmms about Break Down, lols I didn't really particularly like it at first but after awhile it grew on me...lols and it's just that I LOVED that live performance link I gave you...again I say misako uno's vocals were soo soo AWESOME there. lol.

anyway just curious, what got you into liking japanese stuff in general? For me I started at a very young age thanks to my older sis, she's about ur age =p

well now she's in melbourne. but anyway she introduced me to manga and anime. then from there she started to listen to some japanese music..V6 being one of the 1st thx to inuyasha...and slowly she started watching dramas, got me to watch dramas...

through dramas, got to know johnny's and the cycle goes on. So basically for me it was influence from my older sis. Though for AAA and HSJ, I kinda got into that myself since my sis isn't really a fan of either 2. She's more into e j-rock...and for Johnny's, stuff like Kinki Kids and perhaps arashi as well.

How about you? =p
