Anyhow, while watching the movie this time around, I realized a few things which I've failed to notice before. Like the one very obviously striking point which I had refused to acknowledge before...Cloud and Tifa are pretty much an OTP. Though I'm actually quite resisting to say so is she and Reno, but that's not the point. It's funny but I've came to love this pairing very much, especially when I noticed the little details. Like how concerned Cloud was over Tifa when he discovered she was hurt. And when he woke up from his daze in the kids' room, his first concern was Tifa and the look on his face as he watched her resting peacefully. There was a wavering note of affection as well as adoration. It's like a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of scene.

And their little 'family'. Marlene, Denzel, Tifa and Cloud. There's got to be reason why it's the four of them together, why Marlene's not off with her dad and why Denzel came into their lives. After I read Case of Tifa, I found their family relationship even much more endearing, how Denzel looks up to Cloud, how Denzel is so much of a big brother to the younger Marlene and in return, how Marlene gives much care and concern about Denzel and his sickness, how Cloud teaches the both of them to read and remember the words, how Tifa watches the three with amusement as she cleans up the bar with them sitting at the table in the middle of the bar.

The family picture on the right and the family-slash-group picture on the left. This was definitely one of the best scenes in the movie. Right on Cloud's table in the room that probably serves as his office, within the reach of an arm's length. There's something about the relationship between Cloud and Tifa that no other pairing can have. I don't know, maybe Cloud did fell in love with Aerith before, considering her importance in his life especially after her death, but I believe his heart has already been given away a long time ago...ever since he was a kid. To the little girl in a blue dress. And from there, his heart has always stayed with her, as hers with him. I have always liked the notion of first love and how special it is to a person, so I guess perhaps that's why I feel the same way about this pairing as well. Sure, Reno is amusing, Vincent is mysterious, Rufus is suave...and the three of them are sure as hell very much good-looking. Cloud is...well, a man of very few words and his feelings and thoughts are often well hidden, but he is still, Tifa's first love and probably her last. Plus, there's the fact he's really, bloody good-looking too XD

When I first heard that FFVII would be made into a movie, I was really curious as to how it would be done. There's no way in real actors could be brought in, cause really, how do you portray the many CGI-needed effects for the movie with real humans who can only do so much even with all the assistance of technology. Plus, there's the role portrayal. It would definitely go downhill and be fed to the rabid sharks if the characters' were played by actors who don't look like it and don't act like it either. But when I heard it was going to be purely computer-animated, I was relieved and completely anxious to see how it would turn out. Honestly, I have no complaints about the end results =D
And here comes the reasons why I am so torn between the pairings in the fandom.
The tall, dark, mysterious 'vampire'...

Vincent was my original choice for the fandom pairing, just cause I found Tifa, the ever cheerful optimist of the group would be able to reach out to the distant loner better than anyone else could. And the thought that Vincent would need someone like Tifa in his life, the one who helps him see past his 'sins' and find a redemption.
The foul-mouthed, loud, alcoholic jerk....

He is hard not to love XD C'mon, me, a major dork for the 'bad-boy' types...go figure. Reno's just awesome in his own way. The flaming red hair that contrasts his aqua blue orbs. That wry smile and ever frequent smirk. Reno definitely pwned me over.
The cool, suave, composed mastermind...

I have to say, he is the most gorgeous villain ever.
And not to forget, reading motchi's fanfiction about Tifa going on dates with all the above, including Rude who even though is bald, is quite an eye-catcher as well XD, just to irk Cloud. Reading her story made me rethink all the pairings, and I swear, I have never loved Tifa with Rufus anymore than I did for her story. It was brilliantly written in such a convincing and believable manner that I think Tifa could be better off with Rufus. Lol. But I guess I still find Cloud and Tifa an OTP. But the funny thing about it is, whenever I come across to fanfictions about the two and Reno caught in a triangle, I would be all torn and would never come to finish reading the fic, simply because I refuse to see one of the guys being left out in the cold. Even in my own fanfiction, I tried so hard to resist putting Cloud in the picture, cause one; it's a Reno-Tifa anyway, two; I would hate to see Cloud being the broken one and I would hate it even more to see Reno being the broken one if Tifa choose Cloud over him since it was a Reno-Tifa fic in the first place anyway. Lol. Though I did, somewhat gave in, and placed a short drabble in between where Cloud came into the picture. I felt really bad for my fic's Reno, but heck, it was a short drabble that was just to fill the void that my fiction had for my lack of updating. Lol. Still, as much as I am tempted to do another fic of Reno and Tifa, as requested by the readers, and their request of having Cloud in it this time around, I still can't bring myself to write one. It's a hurdle for me, really. But the thought of writing Cloud and Tifa, lol, that's a little difficult for me as well, since I have yet to actually grasp Cloud's character, although watching the movie a million more times and reading Case of Tifa, did give me a better idea of his character.
I was actually supposed to pic-spam on Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, the second episode - which is an absolute LOVE - but I got too distracted by AC instead. But I will spazz over the second episode now...as I am waiting patiently for the third to complete its download (for some reason, my internet connection has been acting up these few days with slow connections and whatnots). Epi 2 definitely ensued in crazy hilarity. Especially the ending, oh wow. Two, of the hottest guys, in the J-entertainment, ended up kissing. One word - wow. And the appearance of the half Japanese-Spanish guy, Shirota. He.Is.So.Darn.Fine. When I was browsing through LJ and came across the community dedicated to him, there was this one pic of him that was reposted from his blog which made my heart skipped a million beats faster. It was...I don't know, I'm actually speechless on what to say.

Definitely good looking. All the more reasons to look forward to episode 3 XD And all the more reason for those who haven't watch the dorama to go do so XD
