It's time enough that I actually reveal who I am currently in love with. By 'in love' - of course I mean that in a fangirl manner - there would be no way I would actually reveal my current person of affection on a blog whereby whoever could possibly stumble in =) Not that there's anyone really particular, though there is in specific, but, that's not part of today's post XD
I had actually intended to blog about AAA's recent DVD for their concert in NHK in April - which I found it to be oh-so-amusing and entertaining. But that would take me quite some time what with the plethora of screencaps. So I will settle with something smaller, but very much significant still.
Ever since I came to know my first fandom, like most little girls my age then, there would always be this one famous-boy in particular whom I would devote my heart to until someone else new comes along. There was Nick of BSB (who hasn't like guy before?), Lee of 911, then there was JC of N'SYNC, and a couple of others that came and went. Oh, and the current ones would be Brendon from PATD, Billy from GC and Pete from FOB by the way XD I've gone from the squeaky-clean bubblegum pop princes to the awesome in-the-band boys with eyeliners - I still think guys with eyeliners (or even eye shadow smudged around their eyes) are hands-down attractive. And there's Chad Michael Murray who still strikes me as the hottest TV actor around, besides James Lafferty, Patrick Dempsey, and a couple more.
So getting to the main point of my post: it's actually more about the guys from the land of the rising sun that gets most of my attention and almost too easily while they are at it =D
First up: Takizawa Hideaki - Three words: Majo no Jouken. Simply captivating and I fell for his charms almost immediately.
And then came Nobuta wo Produce and I was so curious about the skinny guy with dyed long hair that reached his shoulders. So curious I was that I started looking up online as I wondered who in the world he was. One thing led to another and before I knew it, I fell head over heels for the boy a year older than I am with the cutest smirks and the best Donald Duck imitation ever.
Knowing Kamenashi-kun brought me to KAT-TUN (and the rest of the JE fandom) which led to his bandmate - Nakamaru Yuichi, one of the coolest beatboxer with the pleasant humor of a 12 year old at times XD
In between of course, there were the other distractions. Such as Oguri Shun who just pwned me over with his portrayal of Hanazawa Rui in Hana Yori Dango. Forget any other actor who played the role, this guy as Rui is simply - amazing and charming to the perfection. Rofl. Okay, so exaggerating much there, but honestly, I cannot find a reason not to love Oguri's Rui. And he is so tall that it's so endearing to see him bend slightly to be affectionate towards Makino. Okay, so I have a thing for guys with height as I do for guys with eye make-up.
Someone once thought he was my boyfriend when I so happen to use this pic as an avatar cause Oguri-kun looked simply dashing in white XD It's amusing really, cause I mean come on, this guy - almost close to a definition of a prince charming (a sullen, silent and broody one at that), to be even assumed as the aforemention title - it's unbelivable, even to me.
And then came Ikuta Toma with his dorkiness in Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. I cannot imagine anyone goofier than the guy himself as Nakatsu. And now he's in Maou, boy is he good with the psychologically-mental side XD Seriously, I think he has more than JE is willing to offer him.
Unavoidably, since HanaKimi is all about 'ikemen paradise' there's bound to be a couple more who would stand out well XD And one of them being Shirota Yuu. Half Spanish-Japanese and the best friend of Nishikido and Yamapi. At least that's what his Wiki entry says.
But of course, Kamenashi-kun remained in the top spot as my favorite after he knocked Takizawa-kun from the position, despite the distractions. Until Ninomiya Kazunari, the prankster of Arashi came along and suddenly coolness and occasional goofball didn't seem to matter much as mischievousness - which simply just reign over it all. Lol.
Somehow I then came to know and love Kanjani8, eight guys who bring stupidity a level higher on the pedestal and made it an endearing charm a guy can have. And of course, food suddenly looked so much more nicer and interesting with the influence that came from these eight. Inevitably of course, a few would hold my affection a little more than the average and that's where Uchi Hiroki and Ohkura Tadayoshi comes in, pushing Ninomiya and Kamenashi off.
Unfortunately, the boy seems to be more attached to guys - specifically one Nishikido Ryo, rather than allowing girls to hope he's straight. Lol. Kidding. He's as straight as the next guy on the street. Just prettier and with high pitch squeals every once in a while =D
Ohkura-kun is my favorite drummer boy ever. Period.
And the one who just captivated me to the point the rest sits on levels below - Nishikido Ryo. His poison-tongue reputation but also the one with a really big heart, is irresistible. His voice sends a smile to my face, the butterfly to flutter in my stomach, the tingly feeling to flow in my veins and a sense of happy-giddiness.
That is until a few days ago. Yeap, Nishikido-kun is officially no longer the one.
Instead, the spot belongs to him:
Introducing Atae Shinjiro of AAA. The guy whose eyes gets to me to the point where I can't help but stare at times and whose voice when he speaks is so deep and raspy-like but when he sings, it's a lighter note that's delightful during slow and easy songs.
It's this smile of his that really gets to me.
So yes, I am in love with him and goodbye to Nishikido-kun. See, I said this post was significant enough XD
