looKing back at 2005

Well, 2005 is coming to a closing while 2006 is coming in. Hello 2006. Bye 2005.

Honestly, 2005 has been quite a year for me. I kinda grew up a lil from the previous year. Learnt a few new stuff...met new people... etc. Okay, really. 2005's (or rather was) the year I... (a random list)

1) first played a real computer game, namely FF7, yes I've yet to finished and I'm well aware that I'm taking forever. Hehe.
2) finally learnt to let go of things/people of the past and to stop looking back and having wishful thoughts.
3) return to watching my favorite...plays! It started back with Romi & Joo Lee, followed by Fat, Fossil & Funny and then Actorlympics. Not as much as I wanted to watch, but hey, it's better than nothing. Next year, I'm going to catch more plays...hehe.
4) went for one of the most explosive performances...Stomp! which was awesome!
5) didn't go to Simple Plan or Good Charlotte's concert...loser me.
6) found my most depressive & destructive side ever, which is not a good thing.
7) undergo my first internship at my favorite magazine, to which I had picked and chose myself, and have no regrets about it. The place & people at the mag are so nice and helpful! They rock! Hehe.
8) donated to the needy. I donated RM100 to Shelter cause I couldn't go to GC's concert so I figured since I had that extra money, why not I give it to those who need it more than I do.
9) first ordered CDs online...lol.
10) learnt that I can be such a green-eyed monster at times which is what I should kick out of me. Hehe.
11) be a lil bit more brave when it comes to things. Still shy as ever, but I think I've opened up a lil more.
12) shifted to my own home...a place to call home for real.
13) finally finished my scrapbook. Hehe.
14) got an extremely cool present for my big brother for his 21st birthday. Lol.
15) decide what I want to do after my diploma which would be doing volunteer stuff.
16) went out with my parents without feeling embarrassed...not that I always do, but once in a while...it happens. Hehe.
17) figure out that no matter how old I am, I'm still quite the kid inside. Hehe.
18) discovered the world of shounen-ai. Joy. Lol.
19) discovered my current love. SHINHWA! Lol...seriously, it was the year I gained an interest in the Korean music scene. But yeah, also the fact that it's the year I became a Shinhwa fan. Hehe.
20) wrote a fanfic and never gotten around to finishing it, not even updating it! Lol. I reek. It's already been...nearly 4 months plus now.
21) met a few really wonderful and nice friends online...you know who you are. Hehe.

Ugh. I can't think of anymore for now.

Actorlympics was great. Had fun...lot's of laughter. Great cast for the night. Harith, Nell, Afdlin, Gavin, Na'a, Edwin and of course, Rashid. Pretty good performance for an impromptu. My favorite for the night...Rashid! Gosh, he is so fine. Lol. Okay, seriously, I've always been a fan of his plays and all, so it's no doubt I'm in favor of him.

I've also completed my 2 months internship. How did it go? I would say...interesting. It was a definite eye-opener experience for me, a good one. I enjoyed being there but for now, I'll stick to being a student. Not ready for the working world yet. Hehe.

Another 23 hours more or less, to 2006. It's weird how it's already a year. It sure doesn't feel like it. Lol. Either way, to everyone... happy new year! WIsh you all, the very best in life with lot's of love, joy and smiles. Be good and be happy! Lol.
