oth

Even up until now, I can't deny how much I love this one particular tv series. It made me cry, laugh, smile, melt, frown, frustrated, inspired...I just love this show one hell a lot. One Tree Hill. I loved it even before it came to M'sian tv shores, where it was about four years ago when I was checking out for the latest on Chad Michael Murray, I came across to this new tv show of his. It struck itself as interesting and of course, with the fact that Chad is in it, it doubled the interest. I followed the episodes even though I didn't had a chance to watch it as my internet connection did not allow me to download any and M'sian tv is a little behind when it comes to certain tv shows. It only came to our shores sometime before season 2 began, I think. When I first watched the pilot, I knew I was going to be hooked for sure, especially since I knew how the storyline went.

There's something captivating about the series, it's funny and amusing, sometimes pretty stupid and whacked-out but there are moments that make you think about life, and they deal with real teen issues which some may be a little above reality but some hits the ball right home. And now that my internet connection is fully capable of high speed stuff, I am able to catch up on the series as it progresses in US itself. Technology is definitely awesome.

This is the good-looking cast of OTH. Left to right; James Lafferty, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Chad Michael Murray, Hilarie Burton and Sophia Bush. I like how much chemistry they all have with each other, as friends...as couples...the cast made it all worked.

The main reason I first watched OTH. His bad-boy attitude as Tristan in Gilmore Girls was what made me sit up and noticed him so when they took Tristan off the show, I was pretty disappointed (but that was made up with Jess Mariano played by Milo Ventimiglia). Chad has this voice that really makes one melt, especially when he talks in a low tone. It's all husky-sounding. Plus, when his character Lucas recently imitated Smeagol from LOTR, his voice was darn cute....and turned out more of an imitation of Elmo than Smeagol. Lol. His smile is incredibly sweet as well =D And I am so darn happy now that Lucas, is officially with Peyton. It's about time they got together as it took them nearly three seasons and a half to get together.

James Lafferty.is.hot. Lol, no kidding. He has the bluest eyes ever for a guy and his smile is equally charming. I am a huge sucker for smiles, so that's a no wonder there. He makes the perfect Nathan by being all jerk-ish in season 1 but slowly changing to a nicer, mature young man as he falls in love with Haley. And he makes the cutest confused looks too XD I love it whenever Nathan tries to attempt at making correct answers for Haley's questions whenever she gets too emotional due to her pregnancy. And whenever he goes to her with an affectionate smile to reaffirm his love for her with a kiss and soft whisper of 'I love you'.

Nathan and Haley Scott. The cutest couple ever to exist in a tv show production. Really. Their moments are always those that make me smile and sometimes, cry, cause their love is incredibly trusting and sweet. It's not a bed of roses for them all the time, but they never fail to make their way back to each other. When I look at them, it's just like what Brooke said during their wedding ceremony in season 3, they bring hope that such love exists in the world. Sincere and real, with trust and support in all manner despite being young but when it comes to love, they are mature beyond years.

Add the fact that they are one of the best looking tv couples around as well =D

Lucas and Haley also makes the best pair of friends that I really adore cause they are so amusing together. They are always there for each other no matter what, and that's something really reassuring to have. Their moments never fail to make me smile.

I will love this show until it completes its entire run on tv cause I can't get enough of it. Even the songs featured in every episode are great and I got to know some good music artistes through the show. Artistes I would have never come to know before OTH. Another thing that OTH got out of me, was helping me to find my love for drawing. I have always loved sketches and drawing in all randoms but I have never bothered to get into it and actually draw. When I watch Peyton draw her feelings and emotions, it kind of encouraged me to do the same. It pushed me a little to draw what I wanted to draw and to let it out on the paper, instead of just writing them down. So that's what I did, I drew. And I found that outlet to be really helpful when I am feeling low or when I am feeling really happy cause it gave me a way to express what was on my mind. The images that I always had in mind, instead of just keeping it in, I get to let it out and see it come to live. It's a great feeling.

The show inspired me in ways I can't list down cause some of it really made an impact in me, which is kind of silly but hey, everyone has a certain something or someone that would give them a little life inspiration even when they least expect it. OTH is one of mine.

It's a cool series...definitely worth watching, and definitely worth loving.
