overdue fangirling

I was supposed to do this earlier, much earlier, but I was sick. For about a week. Being sick is not nice. Being sick allowed me to realize how much things I have taken for granted and how not being sick is one of the best feelings in the world. I love not being sick xD

Anyhow, while I was sick, I missed out on a lot of stuff. Stuff being fangirling stuff. Massive fanfictions, new scans, new releases, clips, shows. It's really sad to miss out on all these. And I miss all on the music as well. I didn't realize how much I miss the music until I felt fine enough to sit down in front of my computer on Friday evening and started up my WMP. And played Naniwa Iroha Bushi. When Subaru's voice started on it's high octave note, something clicked in. And when I heard Uchi-kun's voice followed by Nishikido's....I really felt that sense of missing a whole lot. I miss not listening to them for a whole week while I was sick and miserable, feeling all wretched and depressed and simply miserable seven ways from Sunday. So it's partially insane when you miss the music of a certain group cause you didn't hear them for a week, but this is me we are talking about and Kanjani8 at that. And here I am realizing how much I miss fangirling as well =p

While I was absent from the fangirl world of JE, loads have happened. Well, not really, but close to anyway. KAT-TUN will be releasing their 'Real Face' Debut Concert at Tokyo Dome (?) DVD which I am pondering really hard if I should get it cause it is their debut concert after all. And it's all SIX of them. And Kanjani8 will be releasing a new single next month April and I don't know if I should get it or not, especially since this time the limited edition comes with a limited poster or something along those lines. Thankfully, there's only one version of the limited edition this time around. I had a hard time debating over my buying decision for 'Kanfuu Fighting'...it was either getting the regular, Yellow & Green Ranger limited or just the Yellow Ranger limited. Which I ended up with the later cause I decided to get 'Osaka Rainy Blues' as well. And it's just a colored string bracelet, I am pretty sure I didn't miss out that much on not getting the Green Ranger's...did I? I am pretty sure I am going to get the limited edition for this new single but as for the regular, that's one that I am still considering cause the difference is a track or two if I am not mistaken and that's quite a miss to be honest...I think. A fangirl mind is very indecisive indeed.

But what I didn't buy but was torn to for a few weeks....the JE calendars.

KAT-TUN's 07-08 calendar. When I saw the scans, my mind immediately started to mentally hit itself with a metal two-by-four for not getting it in the first place. Who cares if there's no Akanishi included?? Okay, that's a very wrong thing to say. But the calendar looks so freaking good! Or rather, the guys do. Especially with Kamenashi-kun's current hairstyle =D





And there's a whole bunch more of scans which really, if I were to take my time in getting them uploaded one by one, I will probably finish this sometime midnight. To make it clear cut and simple, the whole calendar is amazing. And I regret not getting it. I REALLY DO.

And I happen to see scans of the NewS ones. Not that I actually bothered with it in the first place, but snarky guy is there, so yeah, what can I say?



Irresistible. Shut uppppp. It's a word that I can't help but say when it comes to him. He doesn't rank top in my current 'hot guys' list if it wasn't for such a reason. Other than fact he's so freaking psycho-cute at times. And I like his voice. A lot. Really. Oh gawd, I have to shut up right now.

And then I saw this at one of the LJs I secretly lurk and enjoy reading from time to time, lol.


I went to Niko-Niko-Do (at least I think that's what it's called) at Jusco, 1 Utama which offers the closest source of Japanese magazine within my grasp (Kino is way too far...sigh) and all I saw was... NewS. NewS. NewS. Every single magazine there had NewS on the cover but none of Kanjani8. The first thing that came out of my mouth was 'why in the world are they featuring so much of stupid Nishikido Ryo?' Lol. I didn't mean stupid as in stupid, but a figure of speech anyway. It was nice to see his face on every cover, but it was with the wrong group XD

So now, I am going to have to make a trip to Kino in KLCC to get Potato April Issue. And also TV Guide of March of....some date I can't remember but I do know they have Kanjani8 on the cover, in all white and messing around with lemons. I don't know why I am making such a trip just for a couple of magazines, but then I remembered that I am hungry for some decent Japanese bento from Isetan and I need to get some stuff for my Japanese cooking anyway. So I guess it's all good. Besides, I enjoy the LRT train ride there and the walking around part in KLCC. I just don't enjoy the going home part with KTM. The only thing that makes it all the more bearable is the magazine in hand. Once, I was too engrossed with the February issue of Potato, I completely lost track of all else and nearly missed my stop. Lol. I was grinning too enthusiastically over the images, and the fact that I could actually understood some of the Japanese in it =D

And suddenly, I have became really fond of Arashi.

Maybe it's cause 'Love So Sweet' is really getting to my head. I am hoping to be able to watch Letters from Iwo Jima, though I have a feeling it may not reach M'sian shores after checking the cinemas' future screenings. How could they not show that movie which is considered one of the best of 2006 and Nino is in it as well? I want the whole of Malaysia to know that JE is not just some pretty boyband manufacturer but they actually produce talented performers in the form of acting as well. Like Ninomiya Kazunari who received great reviews for his acting in LFIJ. Lol. I am getting all worked up for the wrong reasons. But really, JE guys are awesome. Seven ways from Sunday awesome xD
