loVe is fuNNy...

Once again, I've been hit by Cupid's arrow. Argh. I swear, this time the guy's really...woah. And once again, I fell for his smile. His smile is just absolutely heart-melting and it makes your lips curved upward even unwillingly. I think it's his lips that I love the most. When he pouts...immediately you feel his sadness and dissapointment. And your heart can't help but ache at the sight of him upset. But when he smiles and grins, everything seems so right. He just brightens up the atmosphere around him.

Okay, fine,so it's another one of those Korean guys, namely Kim Jung Hoon. But really, his smile.... He totally pushes Junki out of the my current cute guy spot. Lol. Seriously, he's awesome. Cute and good looking, and maybe a little hot too. Note that I do not always go calling/labelling every guy as good looking and/or hot. Cute maybe. Jung Hoon plays the role of...Prince Lee Yul in the new Korean drama Palace(which is still showing in Korea).

The drama series is the one I'm currently addicted to and which is the reason why I keep dissapearing so often into my room for hours and don't often appear online anymore. Another drama inspired from a manhwa (Korean for manga), it's pretty similar to HYD. Pretty worth watching too. And like in HYD which I had rooted for Hanazawa Rui, the second lead character in the drama...I'm rooting for Lee Yul in Palace. The guy who does not get the girl in the end of the story. However, that's enough about Jung Hoon for now...lol.

Looking at both HYD and Palace kinda leads me to thinking that love is seriously funny. Especially when it's a love triangle involved. See, one guy would like this girl, but then this girl would like another guy who may (or may not) like her in return. A love triangle is nothing new. But what about it is that I noted that the girl would never ever notice the guy beside her who likes her. Instead she'll go on for the 'dream guy' even though the guy doesn't like her or acknowledge her existence. It's like she's blind to see the love the other guy has for her, but keep pursuing blindly for her 'dream guy' instead.

And it goes the same way for guys too. They don't take notice in the girl by their side who likes them. In case the thought that it only happens in tv shows and movies, I would say it actually happens in real life too. The other guy's all sweet and nice towards her, extra caring towards her too, but no matter what, her heart still goes for the 'dream guy'. Which is funny. Why doesn't the girl notice the other guy? Why doesn't she try to accept him instead and end her endless pursue of the impossible guy?

I know a couple of my friends who've been there. And I'd embarrassingly admit that I did the same thing too. I failed to notice the guy who was beside me and blindly led my one-sided love to nowhere. What was it that made me so blind to see? Why does love play it's way like this? I like you but you don't like me and you like someone else and someone else likes me but I don't like that someone else, etc. Complicated....

Ugh. Love can be depressing at times.Still, it's not my place to fully understand it just yet.

Now that I've got my thoughts off my head, I can go back watching Palace. I still can't believe Chaegyung likes Shin! What??? Why??? He's so...complicated. And Shin's not even cute, except for some of his actions, like when he hugs his teddy bear. At first I thought they make a weird couple and Yul and her would be so much more better, but now as the series carries on, I'll admit they are a lil cute at times. But when I see Yul's sad face when he sees Shin and her together, I can't help but feel heartbroken myself. Yul was taken away from the palace and his title of Crown Prince when his father died, so for him to now endure that he can't even be with the girl that he likes...that's so unfair! Maybe I should stop watching so much dramas like this, I keep hoping from the impossible. There's no way Yul would be with Chaegyung. Which is making me roll my eyes and cursing Shin's existence. Lol. Joking.
