It's my style, to try to cheat & lie. Why do you sanctify, something that already died? I've got something that will bring you alive....Man, talk about addiction. The song keeps playing in my head and I keep singing along to it, though I have yet to really know the lyrics. Lol. Addicted Song of the moment: Come Get Some by Rooster.
A couple of lessons learned from yesterday and today;
One: When a movie is claimed to be horror-thriller flick....never ever ignore that little clue.
Two: Things you're most scared of, are usually the most worth-while (Quote from Chasing Liberty) is very true.
Three: Never watch a horror-thriller just for the sake of watching the actor.
Four: Never lay my eyes on dark, mysterious, good-looking guys. Never!
Before I elaborate my lessons, first...I'm pretty happy today cause it's the first time in 6 years since I've seen my primary school best friend, Yoon Hi. Yeah, in 6 years! The funny part is, she just lives in Bandar Utama, that's like just 15/20 mins drive...the max, but we never did bother to try to hang out and meet up again. The last time I saw her, was when I was in Form 1. Lol. But it's great to see her again, and hang out and catch up. Way cool.
Okay, the lessons.....lesson one. I went to watch House of Wax today. I thought it was just some kind of thriller movie, that's all...no biggie. Imagine my surprise with all that horror-blood-and-gore scenes! Those sick scenes where the two brothers slay their victims. Ugh. I was like...ugh. It wasn't scary, more like...thrilling and kinda sickening. Lol. It was kinda like your typical teen-horror-flick...ala I Know What You Did Last Summer, but with more blood and gore. Either way, it taught me to never ignore those little taglines of movies. Whether the movie will turn out to be what the tagline means, only decide that when I watch it, not before.
Lesson two. Very true. Though the movie kinda freaked me out a little, it was still pretty cool. I mean, at least I've watch it, got a little freaked, gotten the thrill....so yeah, it's cool.
Third lesson, I watched House of Wax mostly because of Chad Michael Murray. Lol. Yeah, sounds crazy, I know. But I really wanted to see how he would be in a different movie genre. Chad previously was more into the romance teen flicks...Freaky Friday, A Cinderella Story...and teen TV dramas...Gilmore Girls, Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill. So this is something different. Still, I kinda wished I didn't watch the movie because of him, the scenes keep repeating in my head! Ugh.
Final lesson, I should never, never ever lay eyes on those kind of guys. No matter if it's just an anime, manga character, actor, real-life or whatever! Reason: I'll get totally hooked. I'll be day-dreaming and keep thinking about the guy. Examples of my pathetic-ness...Rukawa Kaede, Mitsui Hisashi, Ichi Shinpo, Billy Martin and a whole lot more. Current addiction: Vincent. Valentine. Yeah, from Final Fantasy 7. Vincent Valentine. Damn. I know my friend is laughing her head off at this. (Fine! I admit it! Vincent is great. He is amazing. His has awesome skills and yes...his mysterious-ness is very intriguing) When I first gotten him into my party I was like...so this is Vincent. As I kept using his character, I was pretty much enjoying having him... so I kept using his character and didn't bother to switch my party. Oh man, I'm getting way out of my mind here. A game character? All because he has a 'dark' past, very mysterious- like...and rather good-looking? Yes, no doubt about it, I have insanity in me. But Vincent....hehe. Okay, so who says a girl can't dream? There's no law that forbids that...though there could be angry fans of Vincent...Lol. Okay, this has got to stop. Bloody hell, I sound like a sick fan-girl. Whatever happen to the normal me? (I blame you Mags! You were the one who dragged me into this whole thing! I so blame you! Hehe..)
I guess that's it...yeah, pretty much that's it. Hell, my life's so dull. Hehe....
Note: I totally forgot. Liverpool won the Champions League. Yay to them. And congrats to them. I mean it's cool that they managed to win it, coming back from a 3-0. Very good fighting spirit and determination. So it comes down to...Liverpool...champions of the Champions League....Chelsea...champions of the Premier League, Arsenal...champions of the FA Cup..nice!
