Anyway, I spent two days away from any contact with my friends, sorta avoided them like the plague, kinda shut myself out from my family for a whole day, and also 36 hours without music or any of my favorite stuff and without touching/using my com. I took the time to find out who and what was bugging me. So yeah, I guess I kinda figured it all out, but it was pretty silly to be bugged by it, so I decided to drop it. Yeap. Feel more better & relaxed now. Why did I even let stuffs like that to bug me??? Geez.
I have a lot to blog about. I think. Anyway, as the aforementioned statement above said, I avoided music and my favorite stuffs for 36 hours...and it wasn't the most fun thing for me. I was all bogged down and needed to find/do things that would cheer me up but I wouldn't. I wouldn't even eat chocolates! I think I had made a vow to myself, never, never ever avoid my favorite stuffs and to deprive myself from them. And Nabila, yeah, I took a break from Shinhwa too. I would usually start and end my day by listening to their music, but because I said I was taking a break from everything, that included them too. Which I have to say, pretty much reeks cause the whole time, their songs kept playing in my head over & over again which made it even more harder to avoid. And another thing I learnt, being deprived, makes you delusional. Very. Never again will I deprive myself. Lol.
So right now, 'Angel' is being played over and over again in my WMP (with a play count of 538...hehe) to make up for it. I'm never gonna get bored of this song, or sick or tired of it which is pretty strange cause my limit for a song is usually...a month...max. But this song, I've been loving it since I first listened to it, and that was three months ago? Oh well, no complaints here.
I've been into brushes lately. Very into them in fact. By brushes, I mean photoshop brushes. I've been checking out all kinds of design/brushes websites and keep downloading and experimenting with them. It's like an addiction really. I keep hopping from one site to another as they are always linked to other cool sites and keep squealing over the cool sets that I'd discover. I sound pretty nuts. Lol. But really, it's fun. My next layout is gonna be awesome. I think. Hehe.
My second addiction would be MP-3 rotation sites. My guide to cool music from music artistes that I'd probably have never heard of or thought about or given a second thought for. But woah, some of the songs recommended on their playlist...are awesome. This is how I discovered Se7en, TVXQ, 1TYM, etc. etc. Their songs are really good...I enjoy them mainly due to the fact that;
One: They have awesome beats
Two: Fun and easy to sing along to
Three:Generally lightens up my mood
And now that I pretty much trust the webmaster/mistress's tastes...I think I shall try out J-rock too, since they seem to be pretty enthusiastic over this particular genre. Lol. I can imagine the headache my parents and brother will go through with my new-found genre. Then again, they've never really agreed my taste of music anyway, like GC, Simple Plan...or back when I used to love BSB, N'SYNC, etc...lol. But every once in a while, I enjoy 'their' kind of songs too...hehe. Current favorite would be Smile by Elvis Costello. I love his voice and the song has a really happy-feel to it. Oh and there's also Def Leppard's No Matter What. The guitar riffs really gets you hooked along with the lyrics. And one song that my brother would have been proud(sorta) of me listening to, Get it Poppin' by Fat Joe feat. Nelly. I love this song and can't help but to put it on repeat mode & keep listening to it. Yeah, my bro loves rap, R&B music, while for me...well, not exactly, though sometimes I do.
Actually, I should stop downloading and storing stuff in my com cause it's seriously overloaded. It crashed on me...twice? Thrice? And yet I still haven't learnt my lesson. Lol. But I finally took the time today to carefully delete some stuff that I didn't really need/want, though it wasn't easy...but I managed it. Hehe. Then again, my priority for my com right now, is a second hard disk...with a bigger memory space so I can store more. Right now in the computer market, getting a hard disk with large memory space is pretty cheap, according to my bro. Sadly, I don't have enough money cause there's this whole bunch of things in my list that I need to get which includes birthday presents and upcoming x'mas presents. Ugh.
I also finally gotten down to finishing my scrapbook. There's...about 7 pages to fill and I've already planned what I'm gonna fill it with. So with this scrapbook done, I'll be able to get a new one soon. The book's filled with all kinds of pics, quotes, poems, sketches, etc. One of my treasured possessions. In fact, I got into a photography mood today and decided to take a pic of my all my favorite/treasured possessions. I went into my photographer alter-ego and started rearranging stuff, adjusting here and there...lol. Pretty weird.

So yeah, that's the photo. Actually took quite a few, okay maybe not a few, more like about 20 shots of it. Lol. It didn't turn out as much as much as I would want it to, but hey, I'm an amateur. Anyway, these are pretty much what I treasure, well things-wise. There's a brown bear with a red ribbon in the pic, that's my first ever teddy bear. Okay, it was actually my second, cause according to my parents my first teddy had fell into the drain when I was holding it,which was not my fault as I was only a wee baby then. How was I to know teddies do not survive falls into dark, deep, dirty drains at the age of...what? 1? But I am very sorry to the first teddy. Then there's a Doraemon cushion in the pic, which on normal basis, I wouldn't give much thought, but this one is special cause my wonderful maternal grandma bought it for me when she found out how much I loved it. Hehe. The necklace hanging from the corner, is...just for no reason at all, just treasured anway.
The wooden box with glass, filled with little finger puppets were from my mom. I love her for getting them for me. She knew I wan't going to play with those finger puppets or use it or whatsoever and RM15 just for that wooden box was pretty much ridiculous, but she still bought them for me anyway all because I said it looked very nice and I wanted to decorate my room with it. She even took the time to help me arrange the little puppets into the box with me. Lol. My mom rocks! The decorative-like thingie that's in front of the box, well, that's a lovely birthday gift from my Japanese penpal Megumi, whom I've known for...7 years now? Hehe. She sends all kind of cool stuffs to me and this is the one that I love the best. She took the effort to send this to me in one-piece by placing in a box filled with soft tissues and even putting bubble-pack around it before wrapping it with a wrapper. I really appreciate the time and effort she put for something so small, just for me.
Then there's the blue jay Beanie. That's the first (and I think only) gift from my pet bro, Leslie. So yeah, I pretty much treasure it. Beneath Rocket (the blue jay), is the novel, A Walk to Remember. I got this book before it even came out in Malaysian bookstores, all because this guy who knew I love it so much, went out of his way to get it for me. I think he drove all the way to Bangsar to get it after he had asked around many bookstores for it and even tried placing an order for it. When he finally found the book, he was very much sick at that time but yet he still went to get the book anyway, all because he was worried it might get snapped up by someone else. I was speechless when I found out about it. That, is the sweetest thing a guy had ever done for me. So it makes me treasure this book even more so...hehe. So guy, if you're reading this, thank you so much!
On the top are my name tags...as a prefect in my high school. Lol. From a probatory prefect, to a prefect, to an AJK Disiplin to Ketua Displin Pelajar. Lol. It was unimaginable actually. I had no idea I'd reach such a level. I thought I was just gonna be some...I dunno, random prefect. I'm proud to have served for my school as a prefect, proud to wear those name tags and that light blue shirt, navy blue skirt and navy blue tie...lol. Actually, beneath all that, is my scrapbook, but due to my amateur photography skills, it's hidden. Hehe. Anyway, then there's the sheep soft toy, which I had mentioned before, is a gift from my bro to make me feel better and to cheer my up when I was down with dengue fever last year. The sheep, Jolly (the name my bro and I gave it), is also wearing what seem like a necklace around its neck. Hehe. That's the cross necklace given to me by my bro.
On Jolly's left leg, there's a miniature pewter tortoise. That'd be the birthday gift from my cousin bro. One of the best b'day gifts I've ever received. And of course, Hyesung's special repackaged CD. Why is it one of my treasured possession? Cause it's one of the first CDs I've ever ordered through online, and also because...I just love it. Oh yeah, and the right side of the background, the Colors official photobook. I'd be crazy not to treasure this. This is by far, the most expensive thing I've ever bought that is related to the guys. And the pics inside are definitely worth it. The best thing about it, my mom contributed a lil to subsidize for me. Lol. She had no clear idea what I was getting, except the fact that I totally love the book and really, really want to have it. Hehe. See, my mom rocks.
I think I blabbed too much. It's already 3.25 and I'm suppose to defrag my hard drive and head to bed. I'm suppose to go out later with my parents and bro at 10.30 but here I am, blogging. My parents are gonna kill me when I can't stay awake later...lol. Anyway, I'll just continue a lil more cause I'm in such a good mood. The midnight Mcdonalds must have really hit some stay-awake nerve in me. Or it could be due to my boogie session earlier. Hehe.
My results are out. Ugh. I'm not that happy with them. And most of friends had done pretty well. Congrats! As for me, well, let's just say seeing their results kinda made me felt a lil...worse. Okay, so my results aren't that bad...but still, it's kinda bad. I've never gotten a B- before(for college) and now I do! Geez. My lowest was a B+. And here it is, a B- sitting happily there, sticking its tongue out at me with its stupid grin on its face. Ugh. On the bright side, I got A's for the other three subjects and one A- for the fourth subject. So I guess it's not that bad. But none of my friends got that low...and that made me feel...stupid. Period. Lol. Surprisingly, it was not upsetting enough to set me into a low mood and whereby I'd start being pathetic and feel sorry for myself. Nope. I started to blast my music and boogie-d all my worries and fears away. As the guys sang, "Its alright, its OK!너무 걱정하지 말고 내버려두면 되는걸-왜자꾸만 바꾸려고 하는지 이해할 수가 없어-"
Yeah, so I'm taking it as they say. It's alright, it's okay. I'm fine...I sound like I'm trying to convince myself. Lol. But seriously, yeah, I'm fine. Hehe.
Right, so to end this...Happy Deepavali to everyone celebrating the festival!
Wow. I really talk alot. My post is...really long...
