Great. The first game we lose in the season. And it's only the second game. By a penalty. I'm severely upset and unsatisfied. This season is starting out...bleak. Bloody hell.
While watching the game I just got more and more frustrated by the minute. So many chances and attempts at the goal, all failed. And they weren't playing like how the team would usually play, it seems like there was something off about them.
It's really upsetting when your favorite team is going down the dumps. Not that I'm saying they won't get back on their feet and regain their old selves back, but for now, it just sucks. I hope they won't lose themselves with this match and not let it get to them either. They not only need the physical fitness but a strong mentality as well.
It's not that it's a must for them to be the top flight of the league, though it would be great, but I just don't want to see them suffer another scary uncertainity at the Champions League like last season. At least keeping themselves at the top assures them a place at the CL. Last season was scary because it was either they win the CL final (which they didn't) or gain at least the fourth place in the table (which they did, thankfully) to be in this season's CL.
C'mon Arsenal!
