stressed and burned out

I actually thought I was not going to last the whole session. Sure, I did random jumping, dancing and prancing in my room most of the time, muscles flexed (okay, very mininal) and the regular Pilates session. But to have a whole hour and a half stretching in ways I've never stretched before, I could feel myself shaking, literally shaking. My legs felt like jelly afterwards and the waist was seriously aching and my shoulders felt stiff. But it was fun. Enjoyable. I'd say I wouldn't mind a second go, but not today though. I think I'd collapse if I were to go at it again today. I woke up today with severe ache from my waist downwards. I'm walking like I'm having some sort of walking deficiency while my shoulders feels extra heavy.

To the question of what the hell am I talking about, well, I'm actually referring to my Capoeira session yesterday. Brazillian martial art. Very cool. Not. Okay, semi. I like the fact that it incorporates some sort of smooth dance movement into the self defense technique, music and the terms for their moves. Ginga (pronounced as 'jing-ga'). See, it sounds nice. Lol. Okay, seriously, I've seen it on tv, heard of it, but never had gotten the chance to try it out. So when Adeline asked if I would like to join her in trying in out, my first thought was, 'Sure!'. Though I have to admit I was really nervous and intimidated at first. Extremely shy feeling when meeting the instructor. Extremely nervous when attempting the moves in front of others as well as a few unwanted audience. But it was well worth it, a great form of exercise, self-defense and dance incorporated into one. It's a beautiful martial art really.

I just hope this walking deficiency wears off by tomorrrow morning cause I'd hate to go to college like this and have everyone questioning me about it. The last time I walked like I had some sort of walking deficiency was back in high school when I had some sort of bruise on my inner right thigh (I have NO idea how I got the bruise) and ended with multiple questions, snickers and laughter over the way I walked. Not to forget the guy I liked didn't really care or didn't notice, whichever it was, but my silly insane bunch of friends and juniors did, which was what led to the multiple jokes and questions, etc.

Anyway, required promotion of my design assignment blog: please visit my DDP blog, take a look around, and feel free to comment constructively.

The blog was bloody stressful cause for some reason Blogger's refusing to be nice and I kept having multiple problems with it, so I moved to Wordpress. And Wordpress was slightly mean at first but it gradually warmed up and was nice to me. But to just do everything, the critique, review and all, I really wanted to cry. I spent hours and days over it. After completing one part, I'd move on to the next, and then come back to it and edit, and edit, and edit, to which I think I have edited at least 5-6 times by now, for each section. It's mind numbing really, and because of the unclear and multiple diverse instructions we got, it made the task even harder and complicated. Yes, I did learn loads from doing the assignment, but it also stressed me out to the max.

I don't even have much time to myself these days. There's readings to read, quizzes to be completed, the blog, tutorials to prepare for, terms to look up for (which reminds me I still have to look up something for my RFP lecturer - Mark, whose class I greatly enjoy) and library visits to research. I have never, never, ever, willingly spend a few hours in the library just to research. Forced to, no choice, last resort- yes. But never willingly. However, I did last week, whereby I spent about 2 1/2 hours in the library looking up for stuff and books. And I am going to do so again tomorrow, to look up more stuff for PR1. I hardly have time to check out the sites I usually visit, watch Sapuri, or clean the mess of papers on my table, or to revise my Japanese, or to watch Kame and the guys or viewing the latest scans and pictures of them. I have this bunch of clips downloaded but not watched yet cause I just don't have the time for it.And then there's the whole Singapore trip thing.

Plus, the EPL season is starting again soon. I've been craving for football ever since the WC ended, and more of Cesc in action...so I am going to catch the replay of Arsenal's Champions League qualifier against Dinamo Zagreb, which both Cesc and van Persie scored the 3 goals. I really miss watching their matches, so I am more than willing for the season to just hurry up and begin. Plus, I plan to look out for Athletico Madrid matches, just to watch Fernando Torres in action, cause honestly, how can anyone stop admiring this guy's talent? And maybe keep a lookout on Valencia as well for David Villa. Yes...so this season will be a full look-out on these three teams, but first priority goes to Arsenal of course. Hehe. And I just found out that Cesc has been handed the No.4 jersey, which was previously worn by the talented and repected ex-skipper of Arsenal, Patrick Vieira, who also held the position Cesc is playing in...central midfield. Woah. This guy, as I have said many times before, is one player to look out for. He's impressing greatly on the field and the good part, he's still very much humble and willing to learn.

Football aside, now that I have a little more free time on my hands, I decided I will watch the fourth episode of Sapuri later tonight. Staying away from Kame is pretty difficult, considering I keep listening to his voice on songs but never really been able to watch his show/clips. I adore his voice when he was younger, it just sounds so nice! Especially in 'Deki Ai' and 'Hanasanaide Ai'. Actually,I generally like everything about him when he was younger. Now that he's older, I like him just as much. His grin...a real killer. Lol.

So now, I'm off for a shower before continuing with my term-searching and PR quiz question.
