merdeka

Tomorrow, or rather in less than 2 hours time, will be M'sia's Merdeka day. Our 49th year of independence. So...Happy Merdeka everyone. Appreciate it and enjoy.

Anyway, I had just remembered of my 'merdeka celebration' last year. I am not sure if it still serves as a significant memory to the other three who shared the day (or rather, the three days) with me, but it's still pretty fresh in my memory. It was really fun and enjoyable and my first trip of going somewhere with my friends alone. Coincidentally, they are also the first bunch of friends I had sleepovers with. However, for this year's Merdeka, we are all in different places. It's funny how sometimes when you look back on a particular day and you see how it is today itself, you'd look upon loads of memories and sometimes, the feeling of being nostalgic, and sometimes you'd think, 'Did I really see this coming?'...stuff like that.

With my PR assignment done, after desperately editing as much as I could...my DDP assignment is coming on pretty well, with my bilingual element completed and half of my other element done. I re-did my ad for the bilingual element, using the same models, same color concept, but changed the copy and the ad focus. Redesigned and added a few elements to it, and I have to say, I'm really satisfied with it. I only hope my lecturer doesn't do any more last minute changes cause it would set me in a panic frenzy.

And that's pretty much it. Happy Merdeka!
