My mood: A little dissapointed...

Well...Arsenal's match against Man City was...well,definitely a little dissapointment for me...I mean,they weren't playing well...their defence was 'open'...opportunities for Man City were like...'Hey,come score a goal..there's no defence...' Although I do know the results are 1-1 but I feel that Arsenal could've done better...they had great chances to score...but mostly all end up in a waste.Still,I think Arsenal played quite okay...kinda sounds contradicting to my earlier comments right?Well what I mean is that,it was a game you could expect from Arsenal,exciting and thrilling.I know I enjoyed the game,despite me feeling irritated by their defense...that's the only thing that I feel not right about the game.Okay,so maybe I'm not making any sense here...lol...I don't think I make sense to myself...but to put it straight...I enjoyed the game(like I always do for any Arsenal games) but the defense was lacking....I think I make a little more sense now...
So...why am I an Arsenal fan?Alot are fans of the ever so 'great'(no offense) Man United...or 'richie-rich with multiple stars' Chelsea or the 'red-hot' Liverpool...not much are Arsenal fans..Okay,I used to be a 'fan' of Man Utd but that was back in Form 2 because the guy I like(the perfect guy) liked Man Utd...and cause I thought Man Utd was cool...okay stupid reasons I know but hey,I was only 13 and I'm a GIRL...what would I know?I lost interest in football by the time I was in Form 3.When I went to Form 4 my dad and brother were serious football fans,I mean they were always football fans but ever since we got Astro(sorta like cable tv but not THAT much channels) they had ESPN and all...It was football every weekend.My pet brother(a devoted Liverpool fan) was sorta like convincing me to pick Liverpool..and I didn't want to be left out in the hype at my home either...(my brother's an Arsenal fan while my dad's Liverpool) so I went along with it and picked Liverpool(another factor was cause the guy I liked,likes Liverpool too...once again..stupid me,I know...) but actually, I paid less attention to their game...I was more interested in Arsenal's games.My brother explained to me the team and all...how it all works out...etc...and I noticed I was more hyped when I'm watching Arsenal's games...sorta like jumpy-high-a rush feeling...
In Form 5,before the new season started(2003-2004) I switched sides.I became....(drumrolls please....)an Arsenal fan!..and I'm damn proud to be one.I love Arsenal...I love their games and players...all the players have their own individuality...and the manager..Arsene Wenger...he's the coolest guy....he picks the unknown/less-known and turns them into major talents...(Thierry Henry...Francesc Fabregas...Robin Van Persie...Ashley Cole..and so much more) This guy picks his players like a master of talent-scouting.The players of Arsenal are amazing too....my favorite?Robert Pires and Francesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie...why do I like them?Pires is a wonderful midfielder...he sets up the best goal opportunities...I mean,if you watch all their games...Henry and him are like..well,the best partners..they set up the goal oppportunity for each other...they know when they should take the chance when the other passes the ball...besides that,Pires is good in getting the ball back from his opponents...he doesn't really tackle that much but he intercepts well..at the right moment...am I making sense here?Lol...anyway,next is van Persie.This guy..is Arsenal's next super-striker..so young but yet full of striker qualities...not all his goals are the simple easy shot either mind you,but it's those 'Henry-style' kind of goals...and we all know Henry's amazing goal shots...it makes your jaw drop...hehe...for example the recent game against Charlton Athletic...van Persie did a superb shot.And finally..my all star...hehe..Fabregas.This guy is only...ONLY 18 this year but when he made his debut in the English football..he was only 16..and he scored his first goal at 16 too...the youngest goal-scorer for Arsenal...(yeah yeah,I know Wayne Rooney also made a debut at a young age...and a young scorer for Everton,EPL and England..but excuse me....he's a STRIKER...that's what all strikers are expected to do...score goals more than the other players cause that's their main task..Fabregas on the other hand is a MIDFIELDER...)anyway...at age 17 he made his debut in the EPL but boy,did he made headlines.Praises poured in...admirations....this guy is definitely one talent.He started first team for the first match of the EPL 2004-2005 season.He made his debut in Champions League at 17 too..and scored his first goal in the Champions League..like a pro.I was shocked to see how he scored too.Every commentator has something good to say about him.Okay,I know I'm getting a little boastful on Fabregas...but hey,the guy is good for a 18 year old.Plus,he's central midfielder..that's an important position.And the rest of the team..they're amazing too.Hehe...
Don't think I'm the kind who just sides Arsenal when they play their matches with the oppposition...when the opposition is good..I'll admit that..I mean I've noticed how the other teams especially Charlton Athletic,who put up a good defense against Arsenal. Some of the teams really gave their all...and they are good too...Anyway..all of this is just the point of view of a 18 year old girl who likes football....
