tHe arT of eatiNg with ChopSticks

It's rather amusing. We(refers to me and my cousins) call ourselves Chinese (except for one of us) but yet we don't really know the proper way of using the chopsticks. Lol. Very embarrassing indeed. To me anyway. Hehe. I pretty much proud myself being a Chinese kid at times. Anyway, back to my point. We were at my cousin brother's wedding dinner earlier today (very nice dinner indeed...thanks Weng Wai and also to your lovely wife) and suddenly one of cousin brother brought up the whole chopstick topic, asking if we knew how to actually HOLD the chopsticks. He looked to see the way we were holding and we were all holding the chopsticks the wrong way. He then proceed to show us the right way of holding it.

Sad to say, we didn't really get it still. I struggled with mine for a while, as I try holding in that 'right' way but I couldn't seem to snap mine shut, until my cousin brother told me to bring my grip higher up. My brother and other cousin brother (which is also his best buddy and my favorite cousin brother) also fiddled with theirs. We could hardly even pick our food up while holding it the 'right' way. My cousin sister sitting beside me gave up after a few unsuccessful and blur attempts. Hehe. So did I after a while. We looked around to check the way our parents held their chopsticks, and some were right and some were not. But we noticed that they also had a really funny way of holding the chopsticks. Lol. Still, up until now...I don't know how to use my chopsticks the right way. I know how to hold it, but to really pick my food with it...forget it, I'm useless. Lol.

I really should learn how to use my chopsticks properly. Hehe...

Today was actually pretty fun. Like the old times. Where me and my cousins hang out and joke and fool around. I always love that. I love hanging out with them. We can get pretty silly and idiotic at times and come up with the lamest and stupidest jokes. Still, it's fun. I remember being a kid, and getting piggy-back rides from my cousins. The screaming and teasing and giving in. Yeah...

Ugh. My eyes are really hurting...I need to stop. Tired. Very. But before that, I have to blog this. I found what I've been looking for in Kinokuniya and will be getting it tomorrow! Really excited over it. Hehe... It's actually something from my birthday list, but I figured it's too much to ask for...well, not really...more like the fact I can't wait for it...hehe.
