5 hours of insane reading

Sometimes I think I'm too insane for my own good. Or rather, I just have too much time on my hands and am just procrastinating all the way to avoid studying.

I spent a whole 5 hours reading a single fanfic at FF.net earlier in the evening. It was so darn good that I could not stop reading and read it all in one sitting. It had 14 chapters but bloody hell, it was really, really, and I mean really long, for each chapter. Not only that, since it was under the humor genre, it cracked me up so much that I nearly fell off my chair a few times. The story definitely lived up to its genre. The fic authoress is simply awesome with her wit. Honestly, I am at awe with her writing. It somehow makes me feel a little...embarrassed with my own writing. Lol.

And I'm proud to say, the authoress is a Malaysian. Yes, and she writes perfectly well without going out of character for the story. She sounded like she was British to me! Seriously, she nailed the whole British lingo/slang/etc. really well. In case the mind wonders what story was I reading until it required the British lingo and all, it was a Harry Potter fic. Specifically James and Lily. I don't know why but I suddenly developed an interest or rather, love, for this pairing. I love bickering pairs who eventually fall in love. I started liking them ever since the deeper introduction of them in the 5th book, but never really got into the pairing until recently. I think I might have even fell in love with James' character. Lol. That messy black hair matched with the charming yet egotistic and show-off personality, makes him an undeniably hot prat. Lol.

Sometimes I wish good looking jerks/prats with annoying but undeniable charms, actually exist in real life. Like James Potter, Nathan Scott of One Tree Hill, Landon Carter of A Walk To Remember, Jess Mariano and Tristan Dugrey of Gilmore Girls...gawd, these so-called 'bad-boys' just have this attractive thing about them. Be it the way they tease, their stare, their eyes, their voice...lol. Alright enough, I sound as stupid as I can get that I don't think I could insert anymore stupidity. I'm like a school girl having this silly fantasies and crushes. Aargh. Pathetic.
