emails

Now I actually comprehend why in the world celebs never give their email out. Cause you would get spam that reaches the mountain top. I mean sure, every email is bound to receive spam, but it's most annoying when people you know or rather, your OWN friends spam you. I swear, it's the most irritating thing around.

Bloody hell. I did not give you my email just so you could forward me whatsoever nonsense about what dessert I choose would tell what's my personality. I bloody well know my OWN personality without having to refer to some stupid email that's probably been created by someone who has too much free time on their hands and decides to take a mickey out of others with his/her silly choice of desserts and make-up stories.

This is not the first time my own friends spammed me with these. Honestly, where in your thick skull allowed the notion - Jess gives me her email so I could spam her with nonsense, to pass through and processed into that brain? I gave you my email so you could actually write/send me things that are actually useful and not brainless...like say, an email to say 'Hi, how are you doing' or update me on your life if we haven't seen each other in a while, or something related to a project/assignment or to forward some important announcement, etc. Not some silly set of pictures of which dog looks like their owner, or some vacuous chain emails about how if you don't forward this to the next person you will receive bad luck...ugh.

Spam from unknown people is still tolerable but spam from my own friends? Well, I'd think what the hell is wrong with you. Seriously. Do not, do not spam me if you know what's good for you and if you'd like to keep your life as long as possible. Unless you have a death wish, then do spam me, and I will be glad to personally grant your death wish.

On another note, out of my boredom, I came around to listening a couple of Chinese music to which I have forgotten about. Specifically Jay Chou, Lee Hom and Vanness Wu. So now I'm a little addicted to their songs as I play them over and over again. Lol. Hopefully this 'addiction' would fade soon. Gawd, Vanness' voice sounds really good....I remembered the first time I heard his singing, I was so attracted to it that I kept playing the song over and over again until I got sick of it and shifted to another song of his. Do note that my knowledge in Chinese music is very much kept to minimal, so what may sound horrible for other Chinese-music-wiz, it may not seem so to me. Give me a break, the first Chinese music I ever took interest in was F4 and that was only because I got a little 'obsessed' with Meteor Garden (I couldn't help it, my cousin sister forced me to watch the entire 19-disc series with her over the night without sleeping at all).

But then I came to know Jay and Lee Hom, to which I would honestly say the former is the only one that I truly am a fan of. Jay may seem like he's mumbling at times, but his songs and talent are NOT to be pushed aside. Same goes for Lee Hom actually, but I'm not much a fan of his...no idea why. But what I do know is that there was this pic of him at the recent MTV Asia Awards red carpet, to which he had looked freakishly like someone I know. I swear, the eyes...the smile...the aura about him, it was just like the person I once knew. Oh well.

My music taste really varies. One moment I would be listening Korean then English, suddenly Japanese and out of nowhere, Chinese. Actually, I never really fancied Korean in the first place. I just thought they were nicely mellow and that's all. Japanese got my fancy cause of my lovely Jap pen-pal. Chinese was, well, as aforementioned above. English, cause it's basically my first language. But then came those 6 guys, lol, and from then on, Korean is bounded to my music taste. But no complains, music is after all, one of the world's greatest gift around, it crosses borders and all else.
