"Twinkling of paradise... one more your life,Geu dae geu mahm eul ahl gae suh..."
Wish I was back in high school again. I know I keep saying this from time to time, but I really do feel that way. Met up with a few of my prefectorial board friends (and classmates) today and I realized how much I missed them and those times we shared. The fights, the arguments, the laughter, the tricks and jokes, the whining, the grumbling and the cursing...Lol.
Most of all, I missed my pet brother whom I've haven't seen since....since...well, probably since February. Lol. He's in Upper Six, so with me in college, and we don't live close, it's kinda hard to meet up. As usual, casual jokes and teasing were tossed at each other...and as usual, he stood up for me and was there to 'protect' me from any 'mean' jokes. And...like he always has (I think, though I sometimes doubt it...hehe), he still thinks of me as the one person who would always understand him no matter what. That meant alot to me, knowing that he still trusts me and believes in me. Hehe. But yeah, he's right. No matter what, there's always a part inside of me that's loyal to him. Even though there were some bad blood between him and my other friends over something...well, I'm still by his side. That's just me. Of course, I feel a little angry at him for that matter, cause after all, I am a girl too so I practically understood the situation too. But either way, I couldn't bring myself to hate him or whatever.
I thought I would probably bite his head off today, but I didn't. After all, this is the guy who stood up for me whenever someone tried to bully me or whatever since I was in Form 2. He's the guy who would always give me the best advice I could ever get from a guy friend. He's the guy who sincerely cares about how I would feel/think/etc. He's the guy who knows what I'm thinking/feeling without even me having to say/tell (and sometimes, I can read him too...Lol) He's the guy who just...well, plain and simple, who trusts in me as much as I trust in him.
I got the biggest surprise today when I was working. There was this guy who came in to wrap a ManUtd jersey, which I utterly felt an immediate...well, sense of wanting to just not wrap it. Hehe. But I still did, I'm not that bad. So I placed it carefully and neatly (even though it was a ManUtd jersey...ugh) into a black box and nicely tied it with purple ribbons. The guy's total was about RM24 and he gave RM50. I returned the change and imagine my surprise when he handed RM10 to me. I was like..."Wha? No no..." He kept insisting, saying it was for my wrapping service and for the time and effort I spent for the gift. I kept declining and he kept insisting. I finally reluctantly accept it. Boy, do I feel bad. But then at the same time, it made me happy too. Not cause of the RM10, but cause the guy liked the gift alot and also he appreciated my effort. To me, that's even better than getting the RM10. Hehe.
Tomorrow (well today actually, since it's already 12.03) is THE day. Yes, the EPL is back with the Community Shield. Arsenal and Chelsea. Am I excited? There's only ONE answer to that. Yes! I can't wait. Finally, football is back and I have something to look forward to on weekends and certain weekdays...hehe.
And the whole 'gullible' thing is still getting to me. At McD today, the guy behind the counter asked me if I wanted to 'top up' my meal to a large one for just 45 cents. That immediately reminded me of Mokhramin's words. "It's only RM1 difference." I practically winced at that and took alot of effort to shake my head and tell the guy that I'll just stick to the regular. I can imagine what Mokhramin will say in that British accent of his, "Jessica you don't want to get the large set for ONLY another 45 cents?" Even when I went to get a hotdog for dinner, the guy asked if I wanted to add RM1 to get the drink. I wanted to die right there and then. Why in the world people keep asking me this question and keep offering such offers??? I took a while to decide and finally nod my head dejectedly. I wanted a drink anyway, so it's not that I was being gullible AGAIN, okay well maybe a little, just a lil bit... Damn. Mokhramin, I so blame you for putting me into this state of mind. Lol.
K, that's it. I'm tired...and hungry...need to find food.
