Today, okay more like yesterday since it's already past 12...I hate it when every time I attempt to blog about a day's event(s) and then I realize that it's already past 12 so it's no longer 'today' anymore, but it's 'yesterday'...anyhow, as I was saying, I received a really wonderful and special gift from a friend of mine. It's one of the best gift that I probably had ever receive this year. It's just simply lovely.
It's a necklace actually, not just any random necklace...but one that's been created and made just for me. One that's styled in similarity with a necklace that someone special to me has. It's simple...just two cords and the pendants, but it's just so nice when I wear it on. I couldn't help smiling every time I look into the mirror to admire the necklace. Lol. Neither can I stop smiling now when I think about it.
The special gift however, is not just the necklace itself, but also something else...which holds a higher value. That, is a friendship. It's kinda unexpected of how our friendship grew just from a few PMs to each other regarding CD-ordering, to crazy silly convos about each other's 'dream guy' on MSN. It's fun being around her cause we both act pretty silly when it comes to our 'dream guy' and we would talk all sorts of nonsense. We would go all...your oppa, my prince charming, your darling, my angel, etc. It's crazy but it's fun, to actually let loose, say whatever you want and dream away with a friend. It helps when the friend is equally 'in love' with the group that you're in love with too. Lol. Luckily, the good thing is that we don't fancy the same member...except when it comes to our second choice after our favorite, then it's a tug-of-war...hehe.
It's a real joy to find friendships at times you don't expect, in people you had never expect. And sometimes, when you're really lucky...you'll find those friends who are a real gem, being there for you no matter what, who loves you and cares about you very much. I'd say...in my life, I'm definitely lucky to be surrounded with friends like this.
