Yesterday was a day filled with goodbyes. Goodbyes are the hardest thing to say, or rather, leaving is the hardest thing to do. Especially when the person is leaving for somewhere further and there will be a great distance between you and that person, and you know the both of you are not going to meet again for a long time. I manage to keep myself from being teary-eyed, cause I didn't want any of my friends to know I sad I was actually. Especially Yunn, considering she's already nervous enough to go Australia alone all by herself, I didn't need to add on to her misery.
I spent nearly the whole day at 1U yesterday, being there from 11.10am till...8.45pm. Had lunch at Shakeys and watched Scary Movie 4 with Yoon and Yoon Hi, for the first half of the day. It was fun being with them, and for the first time in my 18+ years of life, I actually, willingly cam-whored. Lol. We took pictures one after another, and if that wasn't enough, we went to those fancy sticker booths and started being silly there too. We took over half an hour just to select the booth we wanted and spent another 10 minutes, posing and looking at the mirror. Lol. With them, I talked, alot.
However, later on for the later half of my day, with Cheneille, Petrina and Mags, I didn't talk. Barely few sentences from time to time. Along with smiles and grins. It's not that I don't like you guys anymore, certainly not! Lol. I felt happy and comfortable to be with you guys again that I just generally enjoyed listening to you guys instead (even if Chen and Mags kept talking about Australia). It was just somehow nice and comforting to have you guys in presence, that just sitting there without saying anything seems alright to me.
So with these three, we had sandwich at O Brien's and dessert at Friday's. I realized that they are the only group of friends of mine that goes to different places for dinner and dessert. Lol. Mags and Chen will be leaving for Australia in a week's time. Pet has already left (I think) for her month-long holidays in...Australia and NZ. Yesterday was the last time all four of us hung out, until hell knows when we will get to gather together again. Sigh.
I am definitely going to miss you three. Being with you guys is something really different, where all four of us have really different and opposite personalities but yet we get along well, I never really imagined us four as a group-'Nuts', to be honest. It seemed unimaginable actually, I would have never believe it if someone were to tell me that at the beginning of our second year (sem 4) that we would be a 'little group' of our own. But it came to be and I have to say, I'm really glad it did. The friendship I received from you three is one of the very best that I could ever asked and wanted. So, thank you. Thank you! I'm glad to have known and met you and to have the privilege to be your friend.
Farewells are hard, sad, but sometimes, it's not permanent either. So I hope that the two farewell that I had yesterday, would not be permanent either. Love you guys!
